3.HIGHLIGHTS & OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS UPTO April to June’12
- One day capsule course covering practical aspects ofKnorr Brake System and dealing with the isolation of traction motor in version IIIrd type loco was organized from 16.04.2012 to23.04.2012 and 49 nos Loco pilots & 26 ALPs were trained.
- 03 Loco Supervisor, 09 LPs and 09 ALPs were trained in EMD Locomotive and 70 trains hauled with such type of loco was handled by same crew.
- Technical Circular containing instruction about prevention of fire, was circulated to educate the running staff about the same.
- In view to increase knowledge level of shunters, 48 additional shunters counseled about shunting rule & trouble shooting of DSL locomotive.
- CMS data entry at crew booking lobby BNDA has been out sourced vide L.No-JHS/M/124/CMS/data entry dt-06.06.12 on quotation basis resulting in saving of 03 ALP per day from stationary duty.
- On implementation of instruction issued by Railway Board vide letter No.2007/fuel/282/3 dated 30.05.08 regarding saving on HSD Oil, Jhansi Division has saved HSD Oil. Details are as under: -

4.Assistance Required
Shortage of wheel discs for NDM5/ZDM5 locos at GWL/DHO NG sheds Railway Board coverage received contract no. 2010/RS (WTA) 458 wheel/874/1 dt 10.08.11 pending.
5.OTHER IMPORTANT ON GOING WORKS/ACTIVITIES
- Two works of additional rooms at running rooms’ Banda & Gwalior have been sanctioned in law book 2010-11. Tenders for civil work have been finalized. Work of Banda Running Room has started and is under progress.
6.Proposals Under Progress
- Work for sanding of the locomotives at JHS and BNDA.
- Proposal for hiring of vehicles at JUI to improve 10 hrs duty performance of goods crew.
