RULES FOR REGISTRATION OF CONTRACTORS IN APPROVED LIST ALONGWITH THE APPLICATION FORM
1. Application will be invited in prescribed format for different category for various works in civil Engg. Deptt.The details of category are as under:
a)Building construction, roads, water supply, drainage and sanitary works.
b)Supply of materials such as ballast, boulders, bricks, stone metals, lime, sand etc. loading, unloading and leading of materials.
c)Track works
d)Bridge works
e)Fabrication, supply and erection of steel works of various types
2. Cost of application form will be Rs.250/- (non-transferable).
3. Registration fees which is non-refundable in any condition should bedeposited. The details of Registration fees are as under:
(a) D ClassRs.5000/-
(b) CClassRs.7500/-
(C)BClassRs.10000/-
i)Application form will not be accepted without registration fees.
ii)The registration fees will be valid for 3 years only.
iii)The registration fees will be deposited separately for each category
iv)The registration fees will be deposited in registration office by cash
4. Following eligibility certificates and documents should be submitted by the applicant with his application. All papers of contractor should be verified by the public Notary. The contractor should have to complete special qualifications shown for those categories other than the Essential qualifications or else the application shall be rejected with out notice andshallnot be reconsidered.
i)Name & address HQ of personal/firm/company etc.
ii)Constitution of firm/company or rule & regulation with partnership deed and power of attorney.
iii)List of description of works completed in last three years & current years, which must have completion period, cost of work done and performance report with certificate issued by concerned officer.
iv)List of work in hand with details of cost of work, completion period and present progress issued by concerned officer.
v)List of machinery tools &plants & any other special equipments owned by contractor as an affidavit.
5. Essential qualification:
a) for D class registration for works upto 10 Lakhs is as under:-
i)The contractor should have satisfactory completed two works which cost
not less than 1.00 lakh each in last three year & Current year.
b)for C class registration for works above 10 Lakhs upto 25 Lakhs is as under:-
i)The contractor should have employee one qualified diploma holder who should have work experience of minimum 3 year of same work.
ii)The contractor should have satisfactory completed two works which cost not less than 3.00 lakh each in last three year & current year.
C) for B class registration for works above 25 Lakhs upto 50 Lakhs is as under:-
i)The contractor should have employee one Graduate Engineer who should have work experience of minimum 5 year of same work.
ii)The contractor should have satisfactory completed two works which cost not less than 10.00 lakh each in last three year & current year.
6) The registration will be valid for three year only.
7) The registration of contractor will be accepted based on merit and demerit. The decision of Railway should be final and acceptable to the applicant. The contractor will not be liable for any claim or compensation.
8) The application form will not be accepted in any case after the stipulated date of submission.
