RP ( UP) Act

During the periodJanuary  to October – 2018, Total 62 cases registered & 51 cases were detected under RP (UP) Act with recovery of Railway Property valued Rs. 298115/- with arrest of 92 outsiders and NO Railway employees  involving in theft cases.

Railway Act

During the period  January  to October – 2018,  13486 persons were Apprehended and convicted under The Railways Act. Fine of  Rs. 4572871/- was realized from them.

Arrest of Touts by RPF/NCR

The menace of touting Jhansi Division has been controlled by the RPF to a great extent as many as 11 persons who were found indulging in touting with in Railway premises were arrested and prosecuted under section 143  Railways Act by RPF during the period (January  to October – 2018)

Drive against male persons Forcibly Traveling in Ladies compartment & Arrested by RPF/Jhansi Division

Drives against male persons Forcibly Traveling in ladies compartment &  Arrested by RPF/Jhansi Division 2090 persons were Apprehended and convicted under section 162  Railways Act. Fine of  Rs. 367515/- was realized from them during the period of  (January  to October – 2018).

Drive against to roof travelers & Arrest by RPF/Jhansi Division

974 persons were Apprehended and convicted for roof travelers under section 156  Railways Act. Fine of  Rs. 143050/- was realized from them during the period of(January  to October – 2018).

Drive against offender obstructing Railway movement, doing HPD and Damaging signal gears etc. & arrest by RPF

17 persons were Apprehended and convicted under section 174 Railways Act. Fine of Rs. 2,14500/- was realized from them during the period of January  to October – 2018.

All India Security Help Line No. 182

During the period  January  to October – 2018, 218 complaints  received through Help line No. 182 over Jhansi Division and disposed within short time and 385 Sticker stacked in different trains & 900 Pamphlets of Help line No 182 distributed to Passengers to aware about All India Security Help Line No. 182.

Drive against Unauthorized Hawking/Vending & Arrest by RPF/NCR

In order to controlling the problem of Unauthorized Hawking/Vending in trains/Railway Premises’ over Jhansi Division by the RPF/Jhansi Division 1569 offenders of Unauthorized Hawking/Vending were arrested and prosecuted under section 144 Railways Act and fine Rs. 1166190/- was realized  during the period (January  to October – 2018)

Drive against Unauthorized Alarm Chain Pulling(ACP)/HPD & Arrest by RPF/NCR

The problem of ACP/HPD in trains by miscreants was tackled by the RPF in real earnest and 1706 offenders indulging in ACP/HPD were arrested and prosecuted under section 141  Railways Act by the RPF and fine Rs. 723645/-was realized  during the period (January  to October – 2018)

Drive for Cleanliness in trains/Railway Premises’ & Arrest by RPF/Jhansi Division

During the Drive for Cleanliness in trains/Railway Premises’ over NCR  by the RPF/Jhansi Division 1621 offenders were arrested and prosecuted under section 145  Railways Act and fine Rs. 264780/- was realized  during the period (January  to October –2018)

Criminal Gang Bursted:

RPF staff  have been deployed in plain clothes at important stations to keep secret watch. During the Period of January  to October – 2018, 01 gangs of  theft of passenger belongings Arrested by RPF and handed over to concerned GRP.

Rescue of  Run – away Children: -

During the year Period January  to October – 2018, 273 children  were rescued by RPF staff and united with their families/sent to Shelter Homes through NGOs.

Rescue of Men/Women/Old Men: -

During the period January  to October – 2018, 20 Women & 07 Men were rescued by RPF staff and united with their families/sent to Shelter Homes through NGOs.

Recovery of left behind Luggage/Articles:-

During the period  January  to October – 2018,  189 Luggage/Articles (Ex. 85 bags, ladies purse, 100 mobile, 4etc.) handed over to related passengers /GRP/LPOs.

Train Escorting By RPF/NCR

On an average 56 Mail/Exp./Passenger trains are escorting over Jhansi Division. Ladies Train Escort parties are also deputed for building sense of confidence among lady passengers. Lady RPF Squads namely Rani Laxmi Vahini, Jhansi Division are actively working over, JHS Div. Total no cases were detected  by RPF Lady Escort over Jhansi Division and RPF Lady Escort is providing help to Ladies passengers in trains.  period from jan to AUGUST 2018.

Soft Skill & Saksham Course:

During the period January  to October – 2018, All Staffs (IPF to Constable with Ancillary Staff) RPF Personnel were educated through Soft Skill Course. to behave soft and Polite behavior to passengers during their duties.
