·Divisional Railway Hospital, Jhansi is Grade-I Hospital catering to 162441 Railway Population including 27063 serving employee and about 20181 Retired Railway Beneficiaries.

·The present hospital started functioning in 1961as 100 bedded hospital & was upgraded in phased manner up to 205 bedded by 1997.

·It is under the administrative control of CMS/ JHS, also includes Health units at LAR, WS/JHS, RLN/JHS, GWL, RSK/STLI, ORAI, JUI, MBA & BNDA.

Special efforts taken to improve the quality of treatment in DRH/JHS

ØAnnual Wellness Assurance Checkup organized in the division, total 11,169 employees health checkup done out of 22,792.

ØInterview and Selection of 05 CMPs (02 GDMOs, 01 Ophthalmic for DRH/JHS, 01 for HU/STLI & 01 for HU/MBA) had been held at divisional level and file has been sent for GM’s approval through DRM(P)JHS.

ØNursing Training of 50 students of private recognized nursing college has been started at DRH/JHS on payment i.e. Rs.1000/- per student, this is earning for the Railways.

ØPP and round completed children immunized (Rly 964 & Non-Rly 4848)

ØNew casualty started and Separate OPD zone started for General Doctors and Specialists.

ØNew Hematology Analyzer has been installed at Health Unit, Gwalior on 01.02.18

ØNew Semi Auto Analyzer has been installed at Health Unit, Gwalior on 01.02.18

ØLab of DRH/JHS is fully equipped for the diagnosis of positive dengue cases.

ØIt is ensured that doctors and staff are present on time and are working to the full satisfaction of the patients.

ØPME & Candidate examination is being done under strict vigil, doctors and staff doing medical examination are nominated same day.

ØProper uniform with name badges has been implemented for all paramedical staff at Railway Hospital, Jhansi & All Health Units in the Division.

ØUnder Swatch Bharat Abhiyan a seminar of Food safety organized, attended food vendors & others.

ØAccessibility of CMS or other administrative doctor to the patient is ensured.

ØPatients’ feedback proforma is introduced for indoor patients in all wards to assess satisfaction level and for complaints, if any. 

ØMachines to be commissioned at DRH/JHS for patient care i.e. Fully Automated  5 part blood cell counter, Computed Radiography system, 3 Chip Full HD cleavable Camera Head Store, C-ARM.

ØUpgradation of Operation Theatre (Modular OT)

ØInstallation of lift in hospital
