(B)Noticeable Achievement / Works done during 2012-13 on ALD DIVISION

 

i.All Civil Engineering works connected with Kumbh Mela -2013 has been completed intime.

ii.Special emphasis has been given on replacement of switches on maintenance i.e Switches older than 10 years as well as critical switches on safety criteria. A total of 254 nos switches against proportionate target of 167 nos (152%) have replaced till Feb’13.

iii.CTR(P+S) – 200.445 CTR (109.76%) against pro rata target of182.25 CTR upto Feb’13.

iv.CTR(Primary) – 179.538 CTR (110.83%) against pro rata target of162.00 CTR upto Feb’13. Which is probably highest ever progress by any individual division on Indian Railway.

v.TRR(Primary)- 247.901 Km (100%) against pro rata target of 248.4 Km upto Feb’13 .

vi.TSR (Primary) – 11.174 Km (147%) against pro rata target of 75.6 Km upto Feb’13.

vii.TSR (Secondary) – 20.075 Km (112%) against pro rata target of 18 km upto Feb’13.

viii.CTR by PQRS – 101.248 Km (133.93%) against pro rata target of 75.6 Km upto Feb’13.

ix.Deep screening by BCM – 191.129 Km(105.65%) against pro rata target of 180.9 Km upto Feb’13.

x.Provision of Steel Channel Sleepers -465 nos (103.33%) against pro rata target of 450 nos upto Feb’13.

xi.Earning from Land utilization – 23.97 Crore (133.17) against pro rata target of 18 Croreupto Feb’13.

xii.PQRS & TSR(P) annual target of 84 km has been achieved up to Jan’13.

xiii.Similarly annual target for plantation and ERC greasing has already been achieved up to Jan’13..

xiv.For following targeted activities, division has surpassed the total progress of 2011-12(April-March) in the month of Jan’13 itself: CTR(P), CTR(P+S), TRR(P), SR(P+S), PQRS, TSR(P), Work site tampers, TBTR, Earning from land resources, Rehabilitation of bridges, Plantation, Up gradation of LCs and Washable aprons.

xv.The work of new FOB at Aligarh Jnhas been completed and commissioned during the year.

xvi.Total 13 nos bridges rehabilated upto the month 'Br. No. 500,486,483,484, 482, 487, 488 & 499 in MGS-ALD section, Br no. 112,206,38, 205 in ALD-CNB section, Br. no 52 in CNB-TDL section have been done..

xvii.FOBs - 05 nos FOB constructed by division/Bridge line and 07nos of existing FOBs rehabilated by Dy CE/Br./Line.

xviii.52 No. L-Xings upgraded upto Feb’13.

xix.01 nos ROB at LC no. 139 at Dankaur & 01 nos ROB at LC no. 136 at Wair commissioned & Level Crossings closed.

xx.Rail cutting operation has been fully mechanized by providing sufficient quantity of Abrasive rail disc cutters in the field. This has improved the quality of rail cutting. On the other hand the block period has also been reduced from 120 min to 90 min for attending the rail fracture etc

xxi.The sectional speed of ALJN-KRJ 3rd line Km 1328.873 – 1369.283 section has been raised from 75 kmph to 110 kmph during June’12.

xxii.The sectional speed of DER-CPYZ 3rd line Km 1417.587 to 1428.5 section has been raised from 100 kmph to 110 kmph during June’12.

xxiii.PSR at Km 1248/40-01248/14 between TDL-GZB section has been raised from 10 kmph to 15 kmph during Aug’12.

xxiv.PSR in 3rd line Km 1020/13A to 1020/17A between CNB-PNK section has been raised from 50 kmph to 65 kmph during Sept’12.

xxv.PSR in 3rd line Km 1025/15A to 1025/29A between CNB-PNK section has been raised from 50 kmph to 65 kmph during Sept’12.

xxvi.PSR in 4th line Km 1020/16A to 1019/2A between CNB-PNK section has been raised from 50 kmph to 65 kmph during Sept’12.

xxvii.03 nos washable aprons (PF no. 7, 8 & 9 ) at Allahabad & 02 nos temporary washable aprons completed during the year.

xxviii.Adarsh station works at Mirzapur, Bharwari, Fatehpur, Khurja, Firozabad & Naini completed. TDL & CHL will be completed by March'13.

xxix.Multi-functional Complex – Civil work of MFC at Allahabad completed.

xxx.Platform extension work completed at Manda, Chunar & Fatehpur.

 

(C)System Improvement:

i.Eco-friendly material i.e Bamboo mat roof sheets provided at Naini and false ceiling in control tower at Allahabad.

ii.Water recycling plant at Allahabad has been commissioned during this year. This has been done first time in Allahabad Division.

iii.Master plans of ALD, COI & SFG developed.

iv.A reduction of 40% in Rail/Weld fracture during the month and overall 34.5% reduction in fractures in comparison of last year up to the month has been achieved.

v.To increase productivity of BCMs, 04 hrs block for group of BCM (324+364) on ALJN-GZB section have been implemented.

vi.The activities regarding Implementation of TMS over ALD DIV have been commenced. Engg. Control staffs have been provided training at IRICEN for feeding of track machine data of Track machines working in ALD DIV, data is being fed in TMS.

vii.Reconditioning of CMS Crossing in-situ has been commenced from 22.06.12 by Translamatic Robotic Welding Technique, during the month 19 nos & total 221 nos CMS Crossings have been reconditioned up to the month & also reconditioning of CMS Crossing in-situ started from 27th Nov’12 by In weld Canada Welding Technique in ALD-MGS Section, during the month 15 nos & 69 nos CMS Crossings reconditioned upto the month.

viii.3rd round of RGM has been completed in MGS-GZB Section.

ix.Joggling of Defective and OBS Weld :All the defective, ten year old& OBS welds have been joggled fish plated in the Allahabad Division in compliance of the Railway Board’s Letter No. TRACK/21/99/ 0910/7/Vol-II Dt 15/9/03.

x.Refresher/ Training of Gatemen : The refresher course of all the gatemens over the division have been completed. Nowthere is nogatemen overdue for refresher course.

xi.Laying of Diamond Crossing: 05 nos diamond crossing (weakest spot on modern track) laid on 90 R with wooden sleeper has been replaced with 52 Kg rail on PSC sleeper during the month. RDSO/Lucknow has also finalized the drawings of1 in 10 movable switch diamonds & P.O. for procurement of 09 sets at CNBhave been placed. Indent for 07 sets for further procurement has been submitted to HQ after Divisional finance vetting.

xii.Total 10 LCs closed upto Feb’13 & 03 Unmanned LC will be closed by Mar’13 given below:

(xii)Maintenance of Colony: 2151 staff quarters have been improved & 1506 roof leakage works have been done till Feb’13.
