CARRIAGE AND WAGON
(i) Coaching
There are a total of 1120 BG coaches and 75 NG coaches based on N.C.Rly. with primary maintenance activities under-taken at Allahabad, Kanpur, Jhansi, Gwalior, Khajuraho, Agra Cantt, Agra Fort and Mathura Depots. Holding of JHS division includes 50 coaches fitted with bio-toilets based on DRDE technology.

POH of these coaches is carried out at Alambagh, Gorakhpur, Jagadhari and Ajmer workshops.

(ii) Wagons
Freight train examination Depots are located at GMC, Baad and JHS.R.O.H. Activities for wagons are also undertaken at GMC, Baad and Jhansi Depots. Requirement of wheels for freight stock of all the Divisions are met by Jhansi Workshop.
A new freight train examination Depot has come up at Dadri for maintenance of CONCOR mixed Container Flats on Deposit work basis.
