Member Rolling Stock Railway Board visits North Central Railway, Allahabad

Shri Ravindra Gupta Member Rolling Stock Railway Board visited North Central Railway, Allahabad o­n 7TH July. During his visit he inspected the Mechanical maintenance Depot Allahabad and interacted with all Mechanical officers in Headquarter office regarding improving the asset reliability so that asset failure can be minimized and better services can be provided to passengers.

He inspected the rake of Prayag Raj Express in washing line and Mechanized laundry available under Allahabad coaching maintenance Depot. The working of maintenance depot was found satisfactory. He also reviewed the performances of Mechanical department in NCR headquarter office. During review meeting he emphasized to improve the quality of maintenance so that asset failure can be minimized. He instructed to adopt good and correct maintenance practices to provide better services to passengers. He put thrust to improve the Knowledge of lower level staff and more involvement of supervisor and officer to assure safe running of trains.

During meeting Shri Devendra Kumar (Chief Mechanical Engineer) along with his team was available.
